Our Math Moments took a turn this week. We are finished talking about differentiation. We move on to using the skills we have learned to sort items. This week the children explored sorting items that were tall, short, thick, thin… We also explored the shape of a cube. The children loved a center in which they built with a set of soft cube blocks. Next, the kiddos used a pendulum cube as a “wrecking ball” to knock down their creation! The children are also working on their number sense. We are counting and labeling sets as we work through our day! The children are also exploring graphs more! What a busy week in Math!
