Bible Time

Our Bible story this week was about Joseph and his many colored coat. The children explored the feeling of jealousy even further and found out how it created problems once again. The children were thrilled to hear about how God wants us to always know that he is with us. We do not need to be afraid because he will be there. The children were able to get reinforcement in the previous lessons of obedience when they found how Joseph obeyed his masters once he became a slave. They found that his obedience served him well as his status rose and he was given a special job.
