Vlentines Week!

Well, it seems the weather has trimmed our week tremendously. The children were all s excited to see the almost overwhelmingly pink room! We covered our lights with pink cellophane and the results were amazing! The children learned about Vinny the Volcano our letter pal of the week and we sang his song. The children made violet letter V's at the easel. The writing desk was busy with children writing on construction paper conversation hearts. These were used to make a Valentine vine for the letter V. We made holders for our Valentines, wonderful (and crazy) crowns, and enjoyed Valentine Playdough. The Valentines parties were amazing! All the room parents get a standing ovation for the hard work and thought put into making the parties wonderful! The children were so kind to one another as they gave and received their Valentines! Thank you so much to everyone who send yummies, helped at the party, provided crafts and games, and came to play! Have an awesome Valentine's Day!
