Bible Time February 22-26

We continue our walk through the life of Christ this week as we learned about a terrible storm. Jesus and his disciples were sailing across a wide sea when a huge storm blew up. The children learned about faith and trust with this lesson. They learned that the disciples did not trust Him to take care of them. They did not have faith. We tried to explore what faith is as a class. This concept is hard for many adults but seems easier for little ones. They understand that God will be with them always and take care of them. I am really trying to instill the act of praying when things get hard to help the children get through tough moments. They know the answer to the question, “What should we do when things get sad and hard to handle?”!
