Our Letter Time this week was dominated by playing with sounds and words. The children learned how to break up words and look for similarities. They are playing with rhymes and beginning sounds. Our weekly theme was "Our Happy Classroom". This led us to read "We Share Everything", "I Don't want to go to School", "Chicken Chickens go to School", "My First Day" and many other selections. We strung letter beads to make words, wrote our memory verse, and worked on the identification of one another's names.
