The children were so pleased to hear that we were headed outside for our Creation Walk. They began by making binoculars to view all of creation. When the kiddos were dressed for the occasion we were off! The class moved around the building looking at the many things that God has made for us. I explained that the things man had made (cars, roads, ladders and playground toys) were made from materials that God has made! Wow! What a reminder of how awesome He is! The children spotted, clouds that looked like shapes, a beautiful Monarch butterfly, berries, on a bush (we discussed safety and the rule not to eat berries that were found), acorns, and a young bunny. When the children began to tire, the whole class spread out a blanket and we had story time outside! What an awesome deviation from the schedule!
