Easter was so awesome. I trust everyone had an awesome time over Spring Break! Hopefully you spent time enjoying this lovely weather with family. I sure did miss your kiddos! Our Easter week was full of fun and learning. The children learned the Easter story in Bible very well by revisiting the Resurrection Eggs regularly. The kiddos wrote Memory Verses and made Easter letters at the writing desk. The students also worked with envelopes of all different sizes and shapes at the writing desk in honor of our Letter E! At the easel we mixed and experimented with pastels, and painted eggs for the letter E. This was the last letter of the alphabet! We have now focused on all the letters!!! The class will continue letter time in review until the end of the year to strengthen our skills. The children made letter E's by decorating with real colored eggshells. We worked through matching, classifying, and sorting activities using eggs in Math. The students really loved several gross motor activities this week as the worked on number order by jumping on numbered "puddles" and the Egg toss was a hit also!
