Math Moments Week of March 8th

The students continued to work on money identification. We made "piggy banks" this week. The kiddos worked to write the different names of the money and then added stickers of each of the coins. We are working hard on Looking at the items on each face of the coins. If you get the opportunity to look at these with your child that would be great. Several students continue to work on their number identification. The whole class continues with numbers 11-20 and beyond... We will begin a unit on addition next week. This will be fun for all as we learn "Kindergarten Math"!
